I first discovered Red Alert back in the mid 90's and was instantly hooked, so many RTS games consumed me but after all these years, Red Alert, Sudden Strike 2 and Company of Heroes stuck with me, but it missed one crucial thing I kept yearning for... that was proper cover mechanics and better soldier AI logic. So Defilade came along... the Idea started in early 2022, with prototyping, and 2026 was the year this idea came to its full form. SOLDIERS The soldiers think a lot and i mean a lot!
